Exhibition launch parties, Dziady Recycling Festival

Four exhibition launch parties will be held on 27 October 2016 to mark the beginning of Dziady Recycling Festival. At 6pm Angela Elizabeth Lühning of the Pierre Verger Foundation will attend the opening of the exhibition of Pierre Verger’s photographs Orixás at Domek Romański. The other three openings will take place at the Town Square House at 25 Rynek. At 7pm  the photographer Monika Bułaj, Jarosław Fret and Leszek Kolankiewicz will be at the opening of Monika Bułaj’s Sacred Crossings. At 7:30pm Magdalena Mądra will officially open her exhibition of photographs taken in Belarus, Haiti and Brazil, called Dziady of the Old and New World. At 8pm, the exhibition curator Aleksander Kawalec will attend the official opening of Inspired by the Gods: Haitian Vodou Painting in Polish Collections.

The exhibitions are on view daily, 10am–6pm. Admission to the Town Square House is free. The entrance fee to Domek Romański is 2–4 PLN. Orixás is closed on Mondays and bank holidays.
