Agnieszka Piasecka graduated from the department of Culture Studies with a faculty in theatre studies at the University of Łódź. She has also finished drama courses of the first and second degree, organized by Assitej, a post-graduate school of art therapy run by the Polski Instytut Ericksonowski (Polish Ericksonian Institute) together with the Polish branch of the International Society for Education through Art INSEA and Trainers’ School. Since 1995 she has been a member of the association ‘Terapia i Teatr’, which she directed between 2000 and 2008. Since 2014 she has directed the Forestille Foundation. Since 1995 she has worked as an artistic director of the International Biennale ‘Terapia i teatr’ in Łódź. She was the co-creator of the performance Idź się leczyć! (You Need Counseling!) by Inka Dowlasz, directed by Antoni Słociński (2010). She co-edited the books: Terapia i teatr. Wokół problematyki teatru ludzi niepełnosprawnych (2006), Spektakl jako wydarzenie i doświadczenie (2013). In 2010–2012 she coordinated the project Teatr PLUS in the city of Toruń. She leads various projects and workshops in theatre therapy.
