María Estrada-Fuentes is an Early Career Fellow at the Institute of Advanced Study at the University of Warwick. Her research interests are conflict transformation, peace-building, applied theatre, politics, and performance. She has worked with government institutions and NGOs implementing theatre, dance, and performance practice in the social reintegration of ex-combatants in Colombia. Her publications include ‘Affective Labors: Love, Care, Solidarity in the Social Reintegration of Female Ex-combatants in Colombia’ (in ‘Leveraging Justice’ a special issue for Lateral, online journal of the American Cultural Studies Association, co-edited with Janelle Reinelt, 2016); ‘Performing Bogotá: Memories of an Urban Bombing’ (in Performing Cities, ed. Nicolas Whybrow, 2014); and ‘Becoming Citizens: Loss and Desire in the Social Reintegration of Ex-combatants in Colombia’ (in Gendered Citizenship: Manifestations and Performance, eds.
