Ewa Domańska is Associate Professor of the theory and history of historiography at the Department of History, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland, and Visiting Associate Professor at the Department of Anthropology, Stanford University (since 2002). Her teaching and research interests include the comparative theory of human and social sciences and the history and theory of historiography. She is the author and editor of 16 books. Her more recent publications include Existential History: Critical Approach to Narrativism and Emancipatory Humanities (in Polish, 2012), History and the Contemporary Humanities (in Ukrainian, 2012), History Today (co-edited with R. Stobiecki and T. Wislicz, in Polish, 2014). Currently, Ewa Domańska is completing a book entitled Necros: Introduction to an Ontology of the Dead Body.
