Leaders
Prof Octavian Saiu, Alina Kietrys and Tomasz Domagała

IATC International Association of Theatre Critics/AICT Association Internationale des Critiques de Théâtre is a UNESCO affiliated organization associating theatre critics and theoreticians. It was initially founded as a discussion forum based at the French Theatre of Nations in 1956, and transformed subsequently to International Association of Theatre Critics. Taking care of the development of the world’s theatre critique, the IATC/AICT regularly organizes seminars and practice sessions for young critics, which take place as part of the prestigious theatre festivals. The young reviewers have the possibility not only to develop their skills under the supervision of experienced tutors, but also to take part in international discussions that enable them to verify their viewpoints and aesthetic presuppositions.

The workshops for young critics organized this year as part of Theatre Olympics, in collaboration with the Polish IATC/AICT branch, will be conducted by Octavian Saiu (English language section) and Alina Kietrys with Tomasz Domagała (Polish language section).
